FAQ

What is the minimum shipment volume or order quantity for freight forwarding services?+
For consolidated LCL shipments the minimum is 1 CBM or 100 kg, and FCL bookings start from one 20-foot container. Smaller parcel-level cargo under 50 kg can still be handled through our express courier partner network at adjusted rates.
What payment terms does Meicheng accept for international freight forwarding orders?+
Standard LCL consolidation departs weekly with a transit time of 28 to 35 days to European ports (Rotterdam, Hamburg) and 14 to 22 days to North American ports (Los Angeles, New York). FCL sailing schedules run twice a week and door-to-door delivery including customs clearance typically adds 5 to 7 days on top of port-to-port transit.
Can Meicheng customize shipping routes, carrier selection and documentation for specific buyer requirements?+
We accept 30% advance by T/T with the 70% balance due against copy of Bill of Lading. For established clients shipping regularly to Europe or North America we also support L/C at sight and open account terms subject to credit review.
Does Meicheng hold the certifications and compliance credentials required for exports to Europe and North America?+
We arrange booking under your nominated carrier or our contracted rates with COSCO, Maersk, MSC and CMA CGM. Door-to-door DDP service to Amazon FBA warehouses in the US and EU is available, including ISF filing for US-bound cargo and EORI registration support for EU imports.
Does Meicheng hold the certifications and compliance credentials required for exports to Europe and North America?+
Yes, we hold NVOCC qualification (MOC-NV-09782) and IATA CASS accreditation. For shipments to North America we handle AMS and ISF filings; for Europe we provide EUR.1 and ATR movement certificates when applicable. Cargo insurance under All Risks clauses up to 110% of invoice value can be arranged at 0.3% to 0.5% of declared value.
